Popop during calls annoying "data not available while..."

Using s7 edge on Verizon, nougat...

Problem - - During every call while not on WiFi i get an annoying pop up message along the lines of "mobile data is not available while on this call..."

It's annoying because it covers up the caller info and I must first kill off the popup before I can hang out up.

Does anyone know how to eliminate this message?

This is due to the type of technology Verizon uses (CDMA).

Fear not! You have the option to actually enable talking and surfing at the same time to avoid that message. I have a great thread on it here:

Turn on VoLTE and Advanced Calling 1.0.
