Popping Sound

Has anyone else had this problem with their DX. When I hook up my fm transmitter to the headphone jack and listen to music through my radio in my car I have a popping sound. It doesn't happen all the time but certainly enough to be very irritating. It does this when I listen to Pandora and also a program that I use to listen to podcasts. When I hook my Ipod, another mp3 player or my wife's Droid 2 up to the fm transmitter this does not happen. I get no popping sounds from them. I have 2 different fm transmitters and it does it with both of them. Thanks

Turning the phone volume way down should help, but I think you'll still experience this to a degree.

If the popping is coming out of your car speakers its due to the jack making connection. I would recommend turning your stereo off before plugging in your jack.

Yes the sound is coming out of my car speakers. But again it doesn't do this with my ipod, other mp3 player or my wife's Droid 2.

Huh, interesting. That happens for me when I plug my ipod in and the volume is up, not as bad as with the X though.
