Popup window missing

I can't find the popup application window on the note 5. Is this another feature that Sammy decided to do away with?

I was wondering the same thing. I used this all the time for the calculator.

Open the app, swipe down diagonally from upper left or right corner.

Or. Go to recent apps and drag any multi view capable app by its header on to the display.
