port dust plugs?

Hello.

I am aware that there are some cases which provide protection of dust entering into the case through the ports....

I was just wondering if anyone has found case-independent, individual port plugs that can be used to safely plug up the stereo (3.5mm port), the micro usb port, and the hdmi port that is on the evo???

I was hoping that I could find independent plugs as I never use the stereo nor the hdmi, so they could be plugged up. Also it would be neat if they didn't interfere with the case (ie seidio innocase ii) nor protruded excessively.


I spent a while on the internet and all I could find was some hard 3.5mm stereo plug for the iphone (that would work).....

just curious if anyone has found anything.

The micro USB port cover on the Pre is one of the most hated features. Seriously. Many have just removed it and thrown it away so that they do not have to deal with it.

You can take a toothbrush and clean out the ports on a regular basis. For me that's better than a cover that I can lose or break off.

Seriously, though. I had an iPhone for about a week and ran into one of the most common problems they have: lint packed in the headphone jack. If a small piece jammed into the bottom, it would prevent the headphones from contacting properly and caused all sorts of problems. I don't know if I'm as worried about the bottom ports (we don't put dust plugs on our laptops, and those get a lot more dust around them), but I am looking for a headphone jack plug.

I actually am using a headphone port plug mad by Switcheasy for my old Iphone. Plugs right in and looks OEM. I wish they would make a cover for the EVO. They make some great case and they have plugs for all the ports which kept mine lint free inside.
