I like one with the cord attached, small and not really expensive. A couple of charges would be great.
Anyone bought one yet that you'd like to share your thoughts on?

I saw that one on nomorerack... It didn't have a brand name is the only reason I didn't get it.
What's the brand name on yours? You like it.? Cord separate? Charge last?

Sincerely,
An amazing S4

I like that one too, how long it takes to charge a GS4?

Why would you get a battery powered usb charger for a phone that has not only a removable battery, but has a nice spare battery with standalone charger available for it?

You know, I asked myself that same question in the beginning.
I came from a Maxx that would go TWO days without a charge. I was in shock for a few days.
Seeing as I was going to have to remember to carry something extra with me, now, to power with anyways....
I then came up with these reasons why to get an external charger.
-I have a case and I don't want to take the case off everytime I want to change a battery.
-I can use a battery charger for other things, such as my Tablet, my headphones or one of my kid's or wife's phones.

Im looking for one as well and its because I have an otterbox so I cant can't be switching out the battery or id go that route. im looking for somethimg that coule charge my s4 the fastest as well. I really only need the external to do one full charge. If it does more awsome but it doesn't need to. Any suggestions are apprciated

I was going to go that route because I really like the Samsung one.
But I have a case that would make me waste precious time on taking it off to place the other battery and then put it back on.

EasyAcc is the best! It allows you to charge up to four different devices and has a 12000 mAH battery, so the charger lasts for days.

Still takes way less time than charging a battery and you don't have to worry about putting undue strain on the usb port. These phones have enough charging issues as it is that's why I went with inductive charging and I put a plug in my usb port to keep dust out.

But hey whatever works for you. I'm just putting in my two cents.

Oh I do appreciate it. I just never thought about what you said, you make a very good point.
At $40 at Amazon I guess it's good but not that good for me at the moment since I make do very good with just the one battery in the phone.

As a matter of fact, I'm about to start looking into buying a car charger. I guess the car charger would be a good and cheaper choice.

Any good ones you know about?

Although I've been thinking that if you have one of these and you're on a bus full of high school band kids and they find out...
I might be everyone's new BFF.
I'd just really like to see the SIZE of it up next to a S4.

That's a good point--with the USB connections these days, everything works.

Have to say...if I had a case that cumbersome, no way I'd buy that. It would destroy what was a key feature of the phone to me--namely, removable batteries. (I have an Otterbox commuter---it adds maybe an extra 30 seconds or so to a battery change.)

There have been moments when I've been in the middle of something and preferred not to shut down. But that doesn't happen often---and I try to top off whenever possible.

I'm not sure I follow :what::confused:

My case is awesome, and the black and white combine perfectly with my white GS4. Having a belt holster is just a plus!

Of course I love the phone without anything on it but in my line of work I have to have a case and holster!

And changing a battery wouldn't take more then a minute of course, but I still don't want to bother at this moment. Maybe in a year when my original battery shows it's age I might just buy the extra battery with the charger like the one on the photo I commented about.

Been thinking more on this.
Towards the end of the day, my phone starts to run low...depending on use during the day, most days it's pretty heavy and it's low. And, sometimes i need it after I get home from work. So, I'm thinking it must be nice, instead of going to put it on charge somewhere, to just go grab that charger, stick it in and keep moving.
I know some are saying just get an extra battery and be done, but really I don't want to have to take that case off. It's an Otter commuter and it's not difficult but just another thing to do. And, in my experience taking cases on and off sort of loosens the fit.
Also, I can use this for my families phones to charge, and for my bluetooth speaker I use a lot and for my bluetooth headset.
So, it'll be an external pack because of the different uses.
And...it's just more fun than getting an extra battery. :)

I definitely agree with you. Especially on been able to charge more than one device.
Anyway, there were many reasons why I chose the Galaxy S4!
Not just because it has a removable battery!
This phone has many, many more things going for it!
