Portrait mode help

Good day everybody! I just got my Pixel 2 yesterday and am trying to get used to it coming from an iPhone. One thing I am struggling with it Portrait mode and its minor but maybe I am just not seeing something. When I go to the Camera app I am not able to easily switch to Portrait mode like I could on iPhone. For example, on the iPhone you swipe right and get to Portrait mode but on the Pixel I have to click the 3 line drop down menu and then click Portrait mode. Is there a better way and I am just not seeing it? Thanks in advance.

I'm curious about that, too. I'm going to be coming from an iPhone, too, and with kids Portrait mode really makes some of their pictures look incredible.

*Side note: you may have as big (or bigger) of a phone issue than me!

You have to hit the 3 bars in the top left corner to get to it, definitely not as easy as on the iPhone but I'm hoping they give a better option in the future.

You can swipe from the left and select portrait. I know it’s not the same as on the iPhone but easier when using one hand then going to top left

Click menu, select Portrait. Only one extra step from the iPhone, if it's even really that.

Yeah....it's not like you need to invoke portrait mode on the fly.

Believe me when I say I have a bigger issue I've had every flagship this year except the V30.
