Portrait mode iPhone X vs Pixel 2 XL!

I did this just because I could. This is the Pixel²XL putting the iPhone X to shame.. SERIOUSLY! My lady has the X. I don't need to tell you all which one is the Pixel²XL. The difference is so dramatic and illuminating that it's disgusting. I'm truly tired of the reviews that try to put the iPhone X in the same class as the Pixel²XL in photography when it's not even a close call. I've been taking tons of comparison shots just like this one and it's never close regardless of lighting or which camera is in use whether it's front or rear facingView attachment 274908.

No doubt the 2nd one is much better! That blowout of the back ground reminds me of my OG Moto X.

Did she try to take the photo more than once on her X? I wonder if it helped, maybe changing the angle of the phone a bit, etc

It's a selfie portrait and yes I tried to do it several different times but I was aiming to see how good the Pixel²XL really is by having a bright large window behind me and the results based on those constraints were astounding and the iPhone could never get close. BTW, that was my first shot with the Pixel²XL, and that was the best of 3 or 4 with the iPhone X.

HDR+ FTW, there. I have yet to see a FFC that can handle back lighting like the last three Google phones (6P, Pixel and Pixel 2)
