portrait mode won't "stick"

I take my phone off auto rotate.
I lock the phone, when I unlock it auto rotate is back on.
S9+, running pie

I seem to have solved it. I finally had time to sit down and Google it for a few minutes, I did a force shut down and it seems to work

back to the drawing board. Still won't "stick"

Also have the S9+ and Pie but could not duplicate it reverting back. Not sure why yours is doing it.

I decided to do a factory reset. I have time today.

However now I have another issue. I started another thread regarding this: When I pull down I don't get the notification shade or the quick setting. I just get my app drawer, same as when I pull up.

Pulling up was normal behavior the app drawer before. Is there a setting I have forgotten to pull down for the app drawer and quick settings?

factory reset did it! I also fixed my notification shade problem
