Yup! Title says it all. I was dreading the day I had a software/hardware issue that was covered under warranty, because I read nothing but bad things about Google's customer service. I am happy to say, from the time I called to the time I had an email confirmation that a new Nexus 7 is on the way to replace my old one took about 2 full minutes. My screen was having the flickering issue and it seemed to be getting worse. I grew tired of the issue and called to have it replaced. The rep was helpful, quick, and was even telling me how excited he is for October 29th. lol Anyway, just wanted to share some positivity around the forums, their customer service seems pretty good these days.

Me too. Two good experiences. Unfortunately, that meant two bad Nexus 7s, but everything was easily resolved, and now I'm a happy tapper.

If you bought it directly from Google, and it's still within their return period of 15 days (though they might be flexible about that), then you deal with Google, and a new unit will be sent to you before returning the defective unit.

If you bought it from another retailer and it's within their return period and the return is according to their policy, then you return it to that retailer. If it's a local retailer, just take it in for an even exchange.

If it's outside of the return period or in some other way doesn't comply with the seller's return policy, then you deal directly with Asus. You'll then be without your beloved Nexus 7 until they repair it or send you a comparable replacement.
