I do not have a DNA, but thought the ppl that do might find this interesting so i am leaving it here.

http://www.knowyourcell.com/news/1796465/is_this_new_droid_dna_actually_verizons_htc_m7.html

It says the the m7 might come to verizon rebranded as a DNA. Uped clock on the processor, new camera, 4.7 inch screen, and sd card slot to be added.

granted this is just a rumor so take it with a grain of salt, but worth talking about none the less. Nothing will be for sure until htc's event on the 19th.

Well it is just a rumor at this point. Sometimes I think some of these "rumors" are reported for page clicks instead of hard evidence of facts.

With that being said, I actually like the 5 inch screen. I know it's only .3 inch difference but I like the extra screen. I paid full retail to keep unlimited data, and I use the cloud enough it doesn't bother me to have only the 16 gb version.

The new camera tech is what I am most interested in.

I agree with the above post, I like the 5 inch display, and don't need the SD card slot. As far as the new camera technology, it's still untested. The problem with our cameras isn't the camera, but how it is executed, as can be seen with other cameras on other phones with the same pixel density.

I'm happy with my DNA, unless the M7 is just so mind blowing that I can't pass on it.

I'm not surprised that they would be launching a new device, but I would be surprised to see them brand a smaller phone with the DNA name. Maybe they'd call it the nucleotide?

Better not be true or I'll be pissed.

Why? Most devices are outdated as soon as they release. The m7 will be a cool device but it doesnt make me want to throw my DNA in a lake and go buy it. The specs are marginally better, if not nearly the same except for the processor. I love my 5 inch screen, it looks "normal" to me which is weird since I came from an iphone 4.

I was originally interested in the M7, because I didn't know if I was going to like having a 5 inch device. I thought the M7 may be a better fit for me. Then I held the DNA and compared it side by side with other 4.5"+ phone's. They really fit a whole lot a screen in the DNA frame. This phone feels good in hand and definitely doesn't feel too big. Then I saw that video with the supposed parts from the upcoming M7 and it didn't really look any smaller to me. That pretty much sealed it for me. I wasn't concerned with specs since it isn't much of an upgrade there. In my eyes, its like having the same size phone as the DNA, with a smaller screen. I'll be happily sticking with my DNA for a long time.
