Possible Galaxy Watch competition in the Pixel Watch

Before giving in and purchasing the Galaxy Watch, I did look around but there was nothing else to buy as far as a watch with phone capabilities.

I was already fed up with Samsung's antics but if I wanted a watch with phone capabilities, it was the Galaxy Watch or an Apple watch, and I don't do Apple.

Maybe in two years from now I will break up with Samsung and go fully with Google. I will miss a number of things about Samsung products, but the lack of concern over this Galaxy Watch is the last bit of disregard I can take from Samsung.

It would have to be a HUGE improvement over the current state to compete. Even with Fossil's Smart Watch acquisition, and while I love my Gen 3 and Sport, they come nowhere near an Apple Watch or even a Samsung one... And the market numbers show that.

In the article, there was a LONG list of of what the authors wanted to see to be happy with the Pixel watch. Hence, the reason I gave back into Samsung. There was nothing but the Apple watch to purchase.

In my opinion and from from following various websites and forums I think the Galaxy Watch BT version comes out on top, not just saying that because I have one

Yeah...it would take a lot for me to abandon the Galaxy Watch. It's got a few issues, but from my research it looks like other smartwatches are far worse. If the Pixel Watch were swim-proof, had a three day battery life, AND had a fingerprint scanner, I admit that might make me reconsider.
