Possible malware/adware attack on my phone

Recently, while wifi/data on my phone (a chinese phone named WE L5) is turned on, it would download some apps automatically and then start showing ads on my notifications, open ads in browser and even show them as pop-ups. It is happening after factory reset of my phone about a month ago. Previously it was just fine. I have to manually uninstall the group of apps, only to see them appear again after some hours. I'm downloading apps from the play store. I did a scan using malwarebytes which showed a threat from an app named 'com.unchristianly.shamelessness.rebuild' which I disabled (can't uninstall it as it's a system app).

Any possible way to stop this hassle?

com.unchristianly.shamelessness.rebuild is either a virus, or it's an app you installed that has a virus in it. you'd need to root the phone to uninstall it. (And if it's a Chinese phone not from a major manufacturer, there's not much hope of finding anyone whp's found a method of rooting it.)
