Virus/Malware Issue

A friend of mine clicked on one of those virus/malware links on Facebook with her S22 Ultra. The phone immediately went to the download screen that looked like the attached picture. I was able to hard restart the phone. After the first restart the phone returned to the download screen. After the second restart I decided to quickly factory reset the phone. This returned the phone back to normal and after a little advice on setting up better backup accounts the phone is working well now. My questions for the group, was the download screen some type of virus or malware attack and should my friend be concerned that the virus or malware is still on the phone? I advised them to immediately change all passwords and enable 2 factor authentication if it was not enabled for all accounts but should they still be concerned about using the phone?

This is the download mode you use to flash stock Samsung firmware or Root and install ROM, as long as no cable was hooked up to the computer to download anything in this mode you're ok, factory reset was a good choice but with Super partition seen in your screenshot probably not going to get updates. I would flash the stock firmware again, Is this by the way a Verizon phone?
