So when I got MM my phone's battery was outstanding as I mentioned in my previous thread, for a stock Note 5, I got about 4.5hrs of On-screen screen time, which was great, but 2 days ago I decided to activate the Google app, which now has a new feature that smart searches things on your current screen. Well turns out that drained my battery like crazy. Went down to 2 hours of screen on time. I deleted all data and disabled Google and my phone went back to normal. I don't know if this will apply to everybody experiencing drain on MM, but that's my personal share that worked. Let me know if it makes a difference to anybody.

You could keep the Google now feature turned on and still have great battery life. You just need to adjust how it updates and tracks you (GPS,WiFi, mobile, etc) and is you want it to always look for new cards and news to update regularly. I have Google now turned on and still get near the 4 hrs of screen on time. I actually can go almost a full day and still have a bit of battery left... Like 10-20% before I go to bed at 11
