Possible to change bottom buttons?

I am wondering if it is possible to change the bottom row of buttons. They are Phone, Contacts,Messaging and Applications.

I would like to have something other than Applications. If so, could someone tell me how to do it.

You can edit the Phone, Contacts, and Messaging, but not the Application shortcut. You can do this while in the application drawer and then hitting your menu key, then selecting Edit... then drag and drop your preferred shortcut to the dock.

You also can download an alternative launcher . I use ADW EX or Laucher Pro. It lets you change everything. App drawer looks and functions . Check it out in the Market.

There is also a "gear" icon in the app drawer letting you move any of the icons.
