Possible to switch numbers between devices ?

Fairly new to tmobile so not sure if this is possible. I recently picked up the Gear S3 and since it has its own line, i would like to have my personal number moved to the watch instead of the phone it is currently on.

If I was moving between phones, I know I could just switch out the sim card, however the watch uses an eSIM that cannot be switched out.

Is there any way to changed the number that is assigned to a sim card to another one ?

You can, but you'd have to call T-Mobile. They can switch SIM card numbers on their system, but that's not accessible to users. Whether or not they do it, however, that I don't know (I've switched SIM cards for the same number before, but never from a watch).
