So I have been debating whether or not I should keep my Galaxy Note 4. The influx of phones from china look promising. Especially the new ZTE that is coming out. Are people still happy with there device, or are you like me and think maybe a change is in order?

I went with the N4 simply because it has an S pen. I was so tired of always searching for a pen and scrap of paper to write on, and then storing and pulling that scrap of paper out when I needed to reference it. I use the S pen for so many things that I think I'll be using a Note for a very long time. I'm spoiled!!!

I feel the same. I really loved my S4 but missed the SPen/Stylus. I have Note Pro 12.2 Tablet and that got me excited about having a SPen. It's nice not to have to carry a pen & note pad around as well as the phone. No plans to change from Note 4 in the near future.
I think people don't give themselves enough time to really know their devices and what they can do before they're on to the next big thing. Then before you know it they're ready to change again. I've had my Note 4 and my tablet since the first few weeks each of them came on the market and I still find things they do that I didn't know before.
Of course it's all personal choice, so if you're not happy find something else.

Here is the thing... I bought the note 4 on day one. Loved the phone. Then recently I bought a BlackBerry Z30, because I missed my blackberry storm from years ago. I couldn't believe the lag on my note 4. It just made me realize that TouchWiz needs to be revamped.

The only time I saw anything "lag" was when my phone first updated to Lollipop 5.0. When swiping between the Home screen to another screen, I would see a delay and then sometimes the screen would jump to the next screen. It wasn't smooth at all. I also noticed a delay going into the app drawer and say, selecting Settings, the Settings window would delay before appearing. Not a long delay, but it definitely was there. I had other problems with LP as well, like dropping calls, my phone app closing down for no reason, frozen screens, eating my battery, All problems disappeared once I cleared the system cache (in recovery.... wipe cache) and doing a full reset. However, I really didn't like the new LP interface, so I reverted back to KitKat and that's what I'm running now. I'm much happier on KK! I've tried other launchers too, but TouchWiz seems to work fine for my needs.

By all means, if you feel you need a change, then that's what you should do. Doesn't hurt to try other things. Good luck!

Using a blackberry anything os10 and then using your note 4 will make you cringe at times. Wondering why things always pause when you ask it to do something open the phone it's slow on the note open the camera it's slow compared to my classic that is but the screen is so nice on the note and the camera does take great pictures

I totally agree. OS10 just seems more polished, in the sense of fluidity. I just wish my note 4 felt the same way. It's still me daily driver, as I am deep into the Google ecosystem. But think TouchWiz really could take a page from a different OS. Just clean it up. Make it smooth.

I truly thought I knew what I was getting in the Note 4. I was not expecting problems from day one. Not even Samsung RMA help with issues. Tried everything from clearing cache to new gmail account and still acts like it possessed. I am very disappointed in both Samsung and Google. Reminds me of Windows 98.
