See what? The update in 2 weeks? You can continue to believe its coming any day, but I dont believe it.

And you every right to believe it when you see it... I'm simply passing along information that I learned today. Of course when I mentioned on the forums over at TiPb the release date of the iPhone 3GS well more than a month before it's release date or that the release date of the iPad (tablet then) would be this March when I learned that this past July nobody really paid attention either - OK there were some who did. That's OK though, I'm not going to lose sleep over it.

If its true that there is a bug I'd rather wait 2-3 more weeks and have them iron it all out than be a beta tester. Stuff like that is why I ditched Blackberry, I want a good working released OS, not having to keep flashing custom hybrids or betas or other carriers builds while waiting for a stable proper OS.

I left BB for the same reason. Don't want that again. To many nights loading up new leaked OS that had flaws with no real updates from BB or verizon. Another great reason for this phone... no more hour glasses and battery pulls

As in the "if you want to do it manually before the OTA" kinda deal?

Correct, this is the dump of the file. So you could load if you wanted prior to the OTA

I would suggest holding off on that. You don't want the bugs to come along with it. Not worth it IMHO.

Oh yes. I agree. I am goood for right now. Just getting the information out for those eager to try!

Particularly if that "leak" contains bugs that they are still trying to iron out, thus the previous 2 week prediction.

Not sure how this one will be loaded in comparison to other ROM's, so I am going to wait and see how others go about it, and their results.

So another 2 weeks or so... This thread will have well over 800 posts by the time 2.1 gets released. That is if the new build passes VZW testing. Crossing my fingers and waiting.....................................
