Post Photos Taken With Your M9!

Interior photos taken w/Camera Awesome
Sprint build 1.32.651.17

I feel like it didn't focus exactly where the Camera Awesome focus point was set.

Here are a few shots I took today. What's interesting is that in auto-mode for the regular picture, the ISO stops all the way down to ISO-50. However in manual mode the ISO can only be stopped down to ISO-100. Interesting nonetheless. From the looks of it though, it seems that center weighted average is the only metering mode that's used by the camera. I'm not sure why that is....

Which one is auto mode?

I recently took some comparison shots with my iPhone 6 and M9.

To me, at least, those pics look pretty much comparable. I wouldn't be upset with either ones. I'm not sure why people are harping on the M9 so much. I don't have one, yet, but stuff like this makes me pretty hopeful for it.

The iPhone 6 photos are more color accurate, but the M9 picked up more detail. I would be happy with both as well. In good light the M9 takes pretty good photos. The good thing about the M9 over the 6 is that the higher megapixel count allows for much more cropping. After I shot the statue with the house in the background I zoomed all the way in, and the M9 looked really good still. The iPhone 6 photo still looked good and usable, but I preferred how the M9 handled cropping.

The real question is when I have time to take both out in less than perfect sunlight what'll happen.

Straight out of the camera, no filters or enhancements. first pic has a crop but the others are straight out of the camera. Camera seems plenty capable in good light - but in low light, details get smudged easily and end up looking like an oil painting. Overall, I am pretty happy with the camera - caveats are that low light is not so good, and makes me miss the M8 camera just a little bit. But this camera is solid, and nowhere near as bad as the reviewers had me expecting..
