The 21MP shooter gives larger pictures (which are useful to zoom in via cropping) full of more detail than the smaller shooter on the Samsungs. Plus, just about every review I've read says the Force Z's camera is as good and sometimes better than the Samsung's, only coming up short in low light conditions. The Aandatech review with photos from several phones was enlightening.

Quality seems better than my S7E but still not as great as my 6P. Id say my 6P had the clearest camera on a phone ever, this camera experience in my opinion is on par or better than my 6P in well light situations as i think it may have less noise when zooming but the 6P still takes the cake in low light. Really love this Z force.

I like this photo because the phone used ISO 2000 and the noise is minimal. The autofocus also did a good job considering it was very dark.

I tapped the castle to focus lock and just dialed down the exposure a touch since it was metering off those bright lights.

This was at Disney obviously and for this trip I took just my Z Force and not my other dedicated cameras (I also have a DSLR with multiple lenses, a small micro 4/3 package, a XZ-2 and a nice super-zoom). I was trying to avoid carrying around extra "stuff" since we have enough of that with 3 little guys to also worry about. I took over 380 photos and some 1080p videos and am pretty impressed with the photos. They are 100% usable for any online posting and many are more than good enough for small prints.

I did notice one thing - the video capture does Not like fireworks! The loud bangs clipped the audio to a full mute every time. I recorded part of the show and every time a big bang went off it would clip the audio completely muting the recording.
