shea-bird, these pictures look great! Don't forget to check out the "Capture smiles" mode, which automatically takes a picture once a smile is detected. You can enable this setting in the camera app settings. (ED)
 
OK folks, here it goes. Just took a few pictures outdoors, no bright sunlight as the sun is almost down. All photos in auto mode in my backyard.

To my eyes, this camera is better in daylight than my Galaxy S7 Edge which I have just sent back for a refund.

I think that the s7 sacrificed a bit of quality for focus speed.
 
Yeah maybe.. As soon as I got the S7 and viewed the photos on on my PC i was disappointed. It lacks fine detail, which the H8 excels at. I also had pink "hot pixels" on my S7E images. That was enough for me to get a refund. Loving this H8 and its half the price. The days of spending £600+ are over. I went to an apple shop to check out the iPhone 7... Nah...I'll stick to my H8!
