Not sure.... If I had to guess I might say it's worse. The reason being that the "soft touch" plastic is softer than the Incipio (that's why I liked the way it felt more).

Don't have it yet but am going to get the Aduro Case/holster combo for $12.99 on Amazon. Getting good reviews and it has a kickstand built into the case part. After 2+ years of the Thunderbolt the one thing I'd really miss is a kickstand.
