I purchased a Zagg HD screen protector and I had issues with the proximity sensor as well. I have since replaced the POS Zagg protector with the new Wrapsol screen protector and it works flawlessly. Wrapsol products offer a much better solution, it is more durable and the screen clarity is a lot better as well. I would highly recommend purchasing a Wrapsol screen protector.I'll be giving it a try tomorrow once I get a razor blade, hopefully that works, but the Zagg HD skin has a notch for it which makes it weird that it doesn't work.
Music Find Trick...while scrolling thru your music looking for a song. You use 1 finger to scroll up or down to find a song but if you use 2 fingers you can get thru songs fast such as in a song that starts with a letter "W".
Huh...???

He's referring to the faster 2 finger scrolling. Works in many apps, not just music. Instead of flicking forever through a long list like the people app you can put two fingers on the screen and drag up and down to the desired letter your song or person's name starts with. You just have to try it really.

My OG Evo didn't come with it, I had to download album art grabber. This is also a nice feature....:thumbup:Gracenote is integratted in the music app, When you add music to your phone and it doesn't have album art Gracenote will add it for you. While listening to song hit menu> update album art. I don't know if this is a common HTC feature but this is my first HTC and only 2nd android.
I listen to a lot of under ground metal bands (Chelsea Grin, Whitechapel, I Declare War etc) and it found all of them pretty fast. I know Gracenote was in iTunes when I had an iPhone so I'm guessing it pulls art through an iTunes search.Too bad the album art doesn't work with more obscure artists whose music can be found on Amazon.
I got a couple of em.
1. (my personal favorite) In Sense 4.0, you can now remove home screens! Just double tap the home button to get to the tile-type layout, then drag the unwanted panel to the top of the screen and it will be removed. I've never had the need for seven screens so I find this incredibly useful.
2. You can slide to view your notifications bar from the lock screen (as long as you don't have a password present). Just push the Power button to wake it, and then swipe down from the top like normal and view your notifications.
3. To disable LTE until it goes live, go into Settings and tap Mobile Network. Then Network Mode. Change it From LTE/CDMA to CDMA Only.
I had more but I forgot em
I'm loving this beast though!
How are you getting this to work? Doesn't work on my LTE. Thx in advance. In the lock screen shake your phone...the flash light will come on... shake it again to turn it off

You have to shake it for a good 30 seconds before the capacitors are properly charged.
You have to kinda shake it in a circle for about ten seconds one way then the other way for ten seconds. Then Walla your looking like a idiot
