Post up here when your 22 arrives!!

I've taken to actually leaving the plastic film on, on those areas where it doesn't really impede function. One more little way of preventing mico-scratches. Plus I have a case on my phone all the time, so don't really see the plastic film.
I would have left it on but my clear case was showing the smudges underneath it and my OCD kicked in LMAO

Finally have my stuff after driving 25 min to the hub to pick it up because I wasn't home when FedEx tried to deliver.

Re: Delivered Today!

I remember when my Note 20 Ultra was delivered directly from Samsung by Fedex the driver handed it to me and I asked him if he needed my signature and he said no, because of covid they weren't requiring signatures. Maybe they still are doing that?

Re: Delivered Today!

I got my S22 Ultra earlier today! They did require a signature (I worked from home just to make sure I could provide it). Got everything set up and logging into all my accounts right now.

Only disappointment - and this isn't related to Samsung itself - is that for the life of me I could not figure out how to install my Whitestone Dome. I've done other UV cured screen protectors before, but after three tries I couldn't get the glue to spread. I guess I'll have to go to a store tomorrow and let a professional install an overpriced screen protector. Aw well.

You watched the installation video, right?

For those who already got the phone does it come with a screen protector ?

I don't think it was a real screen protector, just a temp plastic film for shipping for the customer to take off after opening it, it felt like it was basically held on by static only lol.

Ok ty. I was hoping they went back to providing one like they did on the Note 10. It worked so well. Lol.

Agreed. I kept my N10+ screen protector on for about two years. After it was scratched beyond recognition, put on a poorly installed Neoflex (instead of my usual Illumishield aqua). It was ok until my kid found a way to crack it an unprotected area a few months ago. It's ok, I guess, because it prompted me to get the s22 ultra.

That's wonderful about your phone coming earlier and that you got everything set up! What colour did you get?

That's too bad about the Whitestone Dome screen protector -- but as long as you get a protector installed and your device is safe, that's all that matters!

Happy Phone Day!

My S22 just arrived.
Didn't even hear FedEx. Just got an email from them saying it was delivered - no signature needed.
Activated it and now transferring my data using smart switch via PC. Going to take a while since there's about 20gb.
Once that's done I'll make any changes that are needed to make it look close to what my S21 looked like.

Noticed immediately that the S22 is slightly smaller than the S21.

No screen protector. Just a thin plastic with a tab to remove. If there IS a screen protector on it, then I have put a screen protector over the screen protector (I did that with a previous phone!):p
