Post-Update Play Store Issues

I'm on T-mobile and updated to the latest version of Android a few weeks back.

Ever since then, updating applications has taken FOREVER. Many times a couple apps don't even update and come up with error (code 504). This has frozen my Note 4 a couple times.

Anybody else have this issue or is there a known fix?
 
Did you wipe the cache partition? Do a factory reset? Installing a major update without doing either or both of these steps can lead to the phone acting wonky until they're done.
 
Lollipop changed the whatever you call it from Dalvik to ART which makes apps take much longer to install.
As far as errors and what not try clearing the cache in Play Store app.

This happened to me on Tmobile also. I resetted my phone and it went away?
