Hmmm good question. I know the "landscape photo" rule applies for the GS3. I asked someone if it was the fixed but that person said no, but then again, that person was using an HTC One so he could have been lying

I know a lot of times when I am sending a photo in text or uploading I have to rotate it. It just needs rotated when you upload. There should be a half circle arrow thing that allows you rotate a photo when you upload it. Not all photos need rotated just depends on image size and how you held the phone I think that determines how it's saved but not sure. I'm not expert
