well, you long-press any blank space, and four boxes appear at the bottom of the screen; widgets, shortcuts, folders and wallpapers.

Wallpapers speak for themselves.
Folders are just things like contacts, email, etc
Shortcuts are.. Well shortcuts to, primarily, office tools.
And widgets/apps im sure you're acquainted with. ;)

Folders, shortcuts and widgets can be moved between the screens by long-pressing on one, and holding it against the edge of the screen. (or tilting the phone left or right).

The Market contains a vast amount of customisation options for free if the stock offerings don't tickle your fancy. ;)

For the love of God, can someone please tell me the widget in the upper right hand corner of this screen shot?

Thats APMobile, a news widget.

You can identify it from the red "AP" at the bottom left of the widget.

My home screen (panel 4) is blank so I can enjoy the wallpapers better. lol So my active home screen is panel 5.

A couple with GoLauncher, and one with TwLauncher. Widgets are Fancy Widgets Pro, Gauge Battery Widget and the stock TW ones, wallpapers are from Google Images and the PicSpeed application. (I attached the Carbon fibre one.)

I do have more screens but these are the ones I visit most, one is just a task list, another bookmarks and browsers then apps in folders sorted with labels and the same again for games.

All widgets etc are fairly common and well known but do ask me or message me for the names and links.
