Hey Guys.

This is my first thread here. I hope you can help me.

I get a Samsung galaxy tab s SM-T800.
I have 1 problem. The Power Button is Not Working.
So i decided to open the case and look what is happend.
I attached a picture where you can see the problem. The Volume Buttons are working perfectly. The Bumper between the Button and the Tablet is missing. Do you know what i can do?
Can i Repair it without buying it new one.
At this Moment its not possible to Start the tablet.
Somebody knows how the Bumper are fixed? Maybe i can use one of the Volume Buttons/Bumper?

Sorry for my bad english.
I come from germany

Best regards Alex

See the white thing where the power button would push? That's the power switch. Push it like you push the power button to turn the tablet on and off.

If pressing that white switch doesn't do anything either (which is what I suspect will happen), it has to be replaced, and I strongly don't suggest that you try it yourself. Pay a repair shop to do it - or you will need to buy a new one.

This is a cheap and easy fix. All you need is the left speaker assembly.

However, taking out this speaker assembly is not easy if you don't know where to start. Take out the two screws from earphone jack, loose it from the frame, then gently lift the flex cable from the frame. It has double sided tape so a thin knife may help. Under the section of the flex connect to speaker, there is an opening to pry up the speaker. It should come out easily, do the other way such as pry the speaker up from LCD, you may damage the LCD or have a hard time to take the speaker out.
