The power button on my mini randomly quit working yesterday!!! Turning my screen on/off is now next to impossible, and I'm terrified that if my phone shuts down or dies, i won't be able to power it back on!! The button itself actually feels loose, if that makes sense? Has anyone else had this problem? Or any ideas on how to fix it?

If it's loose, either shaft on the switch behind it is broken or the switch isn't soldered tightly into the board. In either case, the phone has to go to a shop, be opened and the switch replaced or resoldered. The labor is about the same, because replacement is pretty much just soldering it in. The part itself is a dollar or less. You'll pay for the labor and experience if the phone isn't under warranty. (If it is, and your carrier doesn't actually work on the phones there, they'll probably just replace the phone, so make sure everythng is backed up - which it always should be anyway.)
