My button seems okay, I even bought a clear finish L from my Nexus 6 just so I can feel the power button and volume rocker buttons even better.

You are feeling correct. Me and my brother have the nexus 6. His power button still works but just like you, few weeks after he got it, the button power stopped clicking. It still works but doesn't have that "click" feeling to it. He actually found a post on xda developers site that, and this is going to sound strange, if you suck hard on it, it will start working again. Lol. Not grantee it will fix it permanently though. His just doesn't click anymore.

I use a custom rom with "double tap to wake" (DT2W). It saves a lot of wear and tear on the power button since I plan on keeping the phone for a long time. I also have double tap to sleep, by tapping the top of the screen to turn it off.

I have had my nexus 6 for 5-6 months and the power button still clicks. I noticed when my droid 4 from a few years ago quit clicking but still worked.

Trying to suck the button back up is only a temporary fix. Wonder if I should contact Google or Verizon

I don't think Verizon or Google will consider the power button not making the clicking noise like it originally did a problem. If the power button still functions to wake up/ put it to sleep or powers it on or off like it's suppose then their is nothing wrong with it. Buttons wear out over time. My power button my on Nexus 6 doesn't click anymore but it still functions likes it's supposed to and it's not loose. I wouldn't say that since it's not making that original clicking sound that it warrants a call to my carrier T-Mobile or Google themselves

I'm not necessary complaining because button doesn't feel like new. Its gettng harder to press to turn phone on and off .that's my beef .

My droid 4 button still operated normally with no click. In my opinion if it is making it difficult to turn it off and on again you should contact Motorola.
