Power Control Widget - what are these arrows showing up?

What are the arrows that have shown up on the power control widget?

An up arrow beside a down arrow usually means APN or mobile network but I didnt think Power Control had that selection like Swtch or Extended Controls does.

The only arrows I see are the ones on the sync circle. That one turns on and off synchronizing.

I installed CM6 RC2, and had to re-install the power control widget. That's when it showed up, right beside wi-fi. How do I do a screenshot?
It is a up arrow beside a down arrow.

If you're rooted, just use drocap or something similar.

Just noticed that if I deactivate the arrows, my 3G goes away.

Is that the stock power control widget? Mine doesn't have that.

Never seen that one on the power control widget... looks like the one under the 3G symbol on the notification bar that denotes data traffic (send/receive). What happens when you press on that toggle control?

I imagine that Cyanogen's tweaked version. Wouldn't know myself, but have seen that on the CyanogenMod website.

yes it toggles the data connection on/off and is cyanogens 2nd release candidate for froyo.

If that is so then I can uninstall APNdroid which switches data transfer on and off

Yeah, in CM6rc2 the power control widget has:

Wifi | Mobile Data | Bluetooth | GPS | Sync | Brightness

OK I understand that controls Sync, but which specifically syncing are we talking about? Be cause I got a push "facebook message" how exactly do I deactivate or disable that is annoying at midnight!
