Power save mode

Who is using power save mode? I turned it off on my note 2 but have it on on my gs4 because it has a smaller battery. Anyone know if it makes a difference?

I've tried finding some answers on this but nobody has given a clear answer. I tested this mode myself with it on for a day and off for a day. Didn't tell a difference. I keep it off for now.

It makes a difference because it reduces the consumption of battery by lowering the brightness and slowing the processor and turns off any other application that uses battery. I used it for a while when I had my S3 and tried it on my S4, but personally I don't like it. I prefer to have my phone full power and ready.

I figure if I'm not going to be able to charge it for a while then I might turn it on. Otherwise it's not necessary

So it turns out that the only time the cpu is limited is during game play or other times when the cpu would max out. Other than that the only difference is lower screen brightness which is a pain in the rear.
So unless you want to limit your experience when you need the full force of your 1.9ghz quad core then why use this feature
