Poweramp running slowly on HTC one M9

Hi, Poweramp was great on my M7. Just got an M9 and songs take a couple of seconds to load, a couple of seconds to start and a couple of seconds to stop. If I swipe through the songs with album art showing it will do a few then stop for about 10 seconds to catch up. The music is on the phone, not the SD card. It works fine with the built in music player.
Any ideas? It's driving me CRAZY. I would probably doing something heroic with those few seconds.

That's odd. I'm using power amp and it works great on my M9. All my music is on the SD card.

Try this go to settings/audio/fade, crossfade and gapless. Check your cross fade length you need to have a length no longer than 5000ms. Not sure if this will work but give ii a try.
