FYI, Looks like PowerAmp is the first 3rd party music app to finally incorporate Beats. I just saw the update yesterday and updated. Officially the changelog says "HTC Beats/SRS support"

On the Volume screen there now a little button for Beats. I noticed a slight, not big, improvement in the sound, but that may be because I was already using a custom equalizer setting that seemed close to how Beats sounded in the stock player. (I use my Rezound hooked up to my Bose stereo in my car - haven't tried to check out the difference with headphones yet)

But PowerAmp is SO much more robust a player than the stock player (custom settings, lockscreen controls, keep screen on option while playing, etc, etc), so I can switch back to it now that is has Beats!

I hope others follow in their footsteps soon. Pandora, AmazonMP3 or Google Music would be nice.

the developer said it simply enables the stock Beats profile.

PowerAmp has other things on usually like EQ. I wonder if you turn beats on if they conflict and tweak the sound.

what would be nice about Google Music is if they would let you save the music to the external SD card. As it is now since our phones label the internal 16gb of storage as an SD card, there is no way to put the music on our actual external SD card.

Uhm... mount the phone as USB mass storage on the computer. It mounts both the internal storage and the external MicroSD card. Place your music on the external, and done.

It works, that's where I have my music stored, all 9 gigs of it haha

yes you can sideload it via USB and Google Music will find it.

but when you are downloading on the phone you can't select the external SD.
