Pre ICS Clean up

For those that have the new update, anything you wish you would have done before the update or "cleaned up" on your phone prior to updating?

No regrets here. My setup went flawless. Just load stock rom and remove root and sit back and wait ;-)

Kinda sucks that it's now Monday and i've yet to see a blasted thing. I never got the IM text about ICS, I never got the notification saying within the week i'd get ICS, and of course......i've not gotten the update. Patience is all fine and good, but i'm still convinced Moto and Verizon are playing a cruel, cruel trick on me.

I feel like the loser kid that's chosen last to be on the team!

I did notice that Adobe Flash got uninstalled on my phone. So it seems ICS does some house cleaning on its own.

The biggest thing some ppl might wanna remember is try to save root of you are rooted. But even with that....its not hard to root ICS. Its a one click method out now so... I messed something up with OTA Voodoo...lost root and had to use the one click to re root.

I kinda feel like I shoulda did a Factory reset, wiped my phone. I keep hearing some ppl say they got Flash to work somewhat. Or maybe they are not trying full Flash. Like I cant get any videos to play on Yahoo Sports NBA.

I feel your pain. I never got any of the texts/messages either. I've come to the conclusion that everyone is lying. Seems pretty logical. :-X

Also, the Heat beat the Thunder so it's been a rough month for me.
(Not that i'm a Thunder fan, but I hate the Heat---congrats to LeBron though. He earned it)

I enjoyed Dwyane Wade getting ring #2. The Thunder are gonna win a championship within the next 3 years, though. Their team is too talented at a young age to NOT end up winning the whole thing at some point. I wouldn't be surprised if they met the Heat at the finals again next year, like Boston vs LA a couple of years ago.

But about ICS, I actually had a dream about waking up and seeing the update notification on my phone. That's about as ridiculous as it gets. :-\

I haven't found one app that doesn't work. Only got it installed last night but been going pretty heavy and really enjoy it. Especially this newer keyboard.

I cannot get ICS to load on my stock / never rooted Motorola Xoom 4G that I paid full retail for on release day. I have to send it to Motorola for them to install ICS.But I have to find 5 days I can do without it for.

That's actually freaking funny about the dream. I haven't gotten to that point yet. And yeah, I didn't hate seeing the Heat win. At least it wasn't the Lakers.
