I'm dying to try this out on my daily driver, but I worry that my Android Auto setup will get messed up. It's probably not that long before the stable version of 14 will be released too, right?

Yeah shouldn't be long before Android 14 is released, I'm going try it out on my Samsung s23u but currently on vacation.

We all come from buttons you need to spend more time with gesture and it will come 2nd nature.
It's like regular typing vs glide typing I still have to train myself for guide typing so use to the traditional way to type or with a Spen typing.

I tried it and hated gestures so much that I went back to buttons, plus added a 5th.
I think for me it's partially about laziness lol.... I don't want to have to spend the time relearning something when I've been doing it one way for so long.

Plus the buttons seem more direct and precise than all the swiping, for me anyway 😉

I changed to gestures as soon as they were available with Android 10.
Having been with BB for years gestures were a breeze for me and felt like I was coming home.

Yip, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. At least this isn't one of those if it ain't broke, fix it until it is broke situations like many updates.
