I just got an email today from Google that said that because the warranty on the Pixel 2 was extended by a year they were going to extend my preferred Care period by 6 months, to a total of 30 months.

Cool!!

This makes Google Preferred Care even better insurance! I always add Preferred Care to my phones and wouldn't leave home without it.
