Prepaid TB vs On-contract TB ???

I was in the verizon store the other day looking at the TB.... I noticed the full retail price I would have to pay is $599. However the pre paid customer only has to pay $449.....

What's the difference between the 2???

could I just buy a pre paid one and then activate it on my contact line???

I would guess they have to but a certain pre paid plan right off the get go.JMO.

that would be fine, i could have the prepaid acct for a month then not re-new it.

im just curious to see if they are the same phone as far as coverage etc..

That would work ,I am wondering if a Pre paid can't be turned on under a regular plan. Keeping us from saving a buck.
