Preparing phone storage will not go away

I restarted my Dinc today for the first time in a while... I installed an overclocked kernel and also moved all of my music to the phone memory instead of the SD card... I was wondering if anyone might of had this problem or do you guys think it is because I moved 2.5 Gb of music to the phone memory? I did try to move the music back to the SD card, but I cannot get the phone memory to show up when I plug the phone in now...

did you make any adjustments to it?

none.... just loaded it, and when things got screwy I loaded a "stock" kernel from hydra's site...

I had a similar thing happen after loading an aftermarket kernel. I ended up going back to the stock through a nandroid restore and everything was fine.

i went back to stock on everything and now its fine....wonder if it was a bad kernel or 2.2 rom...
