Good morning,

I am trying to find a way to present drawings, charts, images, via Chromecast on demand. For example, using an app like Sketch or any Document source to be on screen as I draw or type.

This would make for an excellent way to have a new version of Pictionary but I have a bit loftier purposes.

If anyone has any way to do this please give me a hand.

thank you

Curry

The apps have to be updated in order to cast and that is the direction Google is going in 2014.

currently there isn't a way to do this without a hacked chromecast and even then its a bit tricky. If your chromecast has been updated to the latest version your are SOL. Hopefully Google enables screen mirroring at some point.

You can only do that from a laptop or PC (not a tablet) for now.

I'd imagine that Google is probably going to update the Google Drive Android app in the near future to add this sort of functionality.

I hope so. The only concern is that its always been marketed as home/entertainment device and not about business use. If they do put that in it would be awesome.
