Press and Hold Home Button does Nothing

I wanted to try the circle to search, which requires pressing the home bar. But nothing happens, I can swipe up to go home, hold and pull up to view recent apps but it doesn't open the search function.

I use gesture navigation and tried switching back and forth but nothing.

Landed her in the Uk on BT. Just tried it, very good feature.

Ok, figures, the first thing I wanted to try. I guess I just have to wait.

Finally got circle to search on March 31. I was thinking I wasn't going to get it until the April update.
