Pretty much close to the size of the Nexus S

Was looking at both phones size wise and found this.

if you have held a nexus or played with one, and were comfortable with it, you will be more than comfortable with the SGS2 Touch.

The epic touch appears to be a light thinner evo 3d more than the Nexus. Their specs are almost identical.

However, the width on SGS2 Touch is 2.74 (a good 0.24 inches).. when you are talking phones, 0.24" makes a lot of difference...
The other day I was in BB store and held Samsung Infuse in my hands (width: 2.8) and boy was it big.. it was really big in my hands...
Personally, I would negate the theory of S2 being close to Nexus S. It is not as I said few mm's make a lot of difference... although I have to agree that even at this size its very tempting.. I guess I have to hold it to really know the difference.

They are different shapes but technically the if you go by volume for size, the GS2 is a tad bit smaller than the Nexus S 4G.
Nexus S 4G - 4.88" x 2.48" x 0.44" = 5.325056" cubed
Epic 4G Touch - 5.1" x 2.7" x 0.38" = 5.2326" cubed

But that's not gonna mean anything if you feel it's too wide for you. *That's what she said. LOL

Lulz! Yeah I think the width is going to be the deciding factor for many people on this device, as I think it will have the biggest impact on the visual perception of the phone's size.

Yeouch! That thing is a monster. I guess it's a subjective evaluation as to what it means to be "close to" the size of the Nexus S, but based on that visual I completely disagree with the title of this thread.

Lulz! Yeah I think the width is going to be the deciding factor for many people on this device, as I think it will have the biggest impact on the visual perception of the phone's size.

I actually prefer a wider device than taller. Reason I returned my EVO-3D, ot was too tall and narrow, I couldn't stand that, I much preferred the fatter/wider EVO 4G. Well now I have the Nexus-S 4G and LOVE it, but 99% will be getting the new Sprint Galaxy S2.

Oooh I like that comparison site. Really gives a good visual of the size differences. Here is the most fair Galaxy SII comparison, which essentially compares the AT&T and Sprint variants. The difference is noticeable but more subtle.

Keep in mind though folks that nothing compares to your own eyes, in person, holding the device. I'd keep that in mind before you get your boxers or panties in a bunch. It could affect your pre-order decision though.

Depends on your definition of bigger. Infuse is wider and taller yes but the volume is just slightly (barely) smaller than the Epic 4g Touch. Either way it's as comparable as it gets.
