Prevent Facebook photo sync

I want to keep Facebook photos of my phone memory and sd card. I disabled photo sink in the Facebook app. I also set the schedule to "never" in sync settings. Then I wiped all data in the gallery app and the Facebook app and restarted each. But when I open the gallery app all my Facebook albums download again. How top stop the Facebook daemon from filling up my card with photos I don't want?

Try going to Settings/Accounts, and tap on Facebook. Is there a listing for Photos? If so, see if there is a way to turn that sync off.

I'm not directly familiar with the S3, but I know that certain phones come with a separate Facebook app or widget, which might be syncing your photos. So look for any additional Facebook accounts listed under Settings/Accounts.
