Prevent "Android System" from being seen in the Recent list.

As you go back and forth between apps, there are times you get prompted for which app you want to open a certain file or carry out an event like navigating to a link with a certain browser. A little dialogue box pops up asking you to choose "just once" or make it permanent.

However, that little dialogue box can be seen as a "recent" window of its own. I would like to prevent such dialogs from being part of the Recent list keeping things cleaner and more easily bouncing back and forth between opened apps in the recent listing.

I'm not aware of a way to modify the Recent Apps screen without rooting. Here's one option: Customize your recent apps behavior with Chainfire's Recently (now Nougat compatible) - Android Authority
