preventing update to jellybean question

Hi Everyone, I am a newbie, a recent blackberry convert. I have a new droid razr maxx hd that is set up perfectly and I do not want the jellybean update that is being pushed to my phone. I have rooted the phone, it is on ics 4.04 and I have installed titanium backup pro. I deleted device manager and have frozen the 3 oma apps, but I keep getting the update window for .7.2 every few hours. Did I miss a step? Is there a cache that I need to clear (I rooted after the first update message). Any help would be greatly appreciated (in 'newbie' speak please ). Thanks in advance for the help.

JB is pretty sweet too. Just protect root, do the upgrade, then use TB to restore APP data. Not aware of anyway to stop the nag message.

It's more than JB. We've got two of them with no lag at all.

I'd bet our definitions of lag are different. I believe that every RAZR HD/MAXX HD has lag/stickiness. It's just a matter of how much its noticed by the user. I consider lag to be any amount of 'jitter' or stickiness in an animation, such as pulling down the notification shade, swiping screens, opening apps, mult-tasking between them, etc.

I have never ever used an Android device without lag (This includes the Galaxy Nexus & Nexus 7), it seems to be noticeably bad on the RAZR HD/MAXX running JB, more-so than even the OG RAZR on ICS.

Thinking about going back to ICS myself.
Too many things missing from JB.
Speed dial gone, ICE Contact gone and BT PAN no longer works.
