Previous Note 7 owner trying to order new Note 8

So, I got the email that I'm eligible for the $425 trade in credit to buy a Note 8. When I go thru the final checkout, it comes up with Promo code expired error. Has anyone else had this problem. I'm going thru the Samsung website.

You shouldn't need a promo code...just once you put your email and they say your eligible, you should get another email with the link to order the phone

Your on the Samsung website you put in your email address and it came back that you qualified for the credit? If that is not working for you, i would call them.

I called earlier. I was told there was a problem with the web site and to keep trying to place my order.

I'm glad Verizon had the half off promo. Dealing directly with Samsung sounds like a painful journey I don't want to take. Lol

this^^^^. I just tried it again to see if they had added any other acceptable phones for the return (N4).

They never asked for a promo code, but that's the error message I got when trying to checkout.

I just ordered a little more than an hour ago and it worked with no issue. Maybe they resolved their error.

Ok. So I tried just now and was able to order mine. So, like a previous poster said, was probably the website having issues.
