Price Drop On The Way?

I am currently using the original Galaxy Tab 7.0 on the Verizon Network with CM9. Thinking about selling and upgrading before it isn't worth anything on ebay. The Tab 2.0 is priced right, but isn't very different. I really like the 7.7, but $500 is over priced. Does anyone anticipate a price drop at Verizon in the near future? I saw that they have dropped the price in Australia. If they discount this, I will probably jump in.
