private listening while connected to my TV through HDMI

While laying in bed I would like to view a movie that I have on my Android Tablet running Lollipop 6.0 connected to my 50" TV with a HDMI cable but listen to the movie wearing Bluetooth headphones as not to disturb my spouse while she's sleeping. Is this possible?

Not using a Bluetooth connection to the phone. You can get a Bluetooth adapter to plug into the headset jack on the TV and do it that way. But if the phoe is outputting via HDMI, it's outputting both sound and picture via HDMI and you can't change or spit that.
