So... to join the masses of people who somehow messed up private mode:
I got the nougat update, and after trying to enter private mode, it tells me that my pattern is wrong. Ok, cool. Supposedly (according to literally every wrong source on the internet) it will then definitely ask me for a backup pin (or a fingerprint).
Well. I have a backup pin set (I have a pin I have to put in when it starts up, as well), and fingerprints set up.
It will not ask me. I'm currently at "Wait 10 minutes and try again." Having done this multiple times to try and get it to ask for a backup pin/fingerprint, but it refuses.
What, exactly, am I supposed to do? This IS the correct pattern (I even wrote it down, and am staring at it now). The spot in the top right that's supposed to have a keyboard does not. I don't think this is my fault, directly. I have the pin, the fingerprints (and fingers to go with them!), AND the swipe, and none of this is working.
