Trust me, there's NO difference. I've been a Sprint customer since well before my first Palm Treo and I've never seen such signal issues as I'm experiencing now.

I live about 5 blocks from my office, in Chicago's loop. My daily "commute" and where I spend my time (work and home) doesn't vary. So it's an apples-to-apples comparison that I'm offering.

"Network busy" messages for voice calls at least a few times a day. NEVER had that happen ONCE with Sprint up to a month ago.

"resources", etc messages with unsent text messages happens a LOT. God forbid I need to get in touch with anyone quickly!

3G speeds that you can time with a *&^%$# sundial!
4G speeds...just did one...ready for this? 4040kbps down/834kbps up.

HTC Evo rebooting it's butt off. Seems that most of THAT problem is heat related. I have a Seidio 3500 in there and it's so darned hot with even minimal use that it just gives up and reboots to protect itself.
Yeah....I've done a full wipe....didn't even restore any apps other than just a few that have never caused a reboot or FC...and it still happens. Back in my AT&T dark days those phones would reset themselves because signal issues. Maybe this is the culprit nearly 20 years later!!

In any case, you can update profile....then PRL...reboot....stand on your head and rotate...whatever makes you feel good but it won't do squat about the service (at least around here).

Hi,
I'm wondering if you did the GB update on your phone? I too had my PRL updated the other day by itself. I unlocked my screen and there it was PRL Update, my only option was to select OK. So it went from 01115 to 60680, however I have not noticed any differance in signal either, but I still have 2.2 on my phone and it's working great compared to all the GB problems out there. I don't have the rebooting or messaging problems like all the GB updater are having.

I havent had any problems with GB besides not being able to root and when i first got it sense reboots after you open anything but they got that part fixed. The only problem i have is the not being able to root. i hope it comes out soon.

Got insurance? Sounds like it's your phone! I've spent a lot of time in the loop over the last month and not a single (or signal) problem!

I would take it back, Since i bought this phone i have not had one drop call since i bought it, This is the my second go around with sprint, Years ago i could not keep a connection no matter where i was, So they have done something for the better.

I think you quoted the wrong person, I'm not having any problems with my phone. I still have 2.2 on it. I'm just still afraid of GB because of all the problems people are STILL having....
